Sam Bahour is an American businessman of Lebanese and Palestinian desent who moved to the West Bank in the 1990s. His political writings are virulently anti-Israel, as he calls for an end to Israel, sanitizes Palestinian violence, advocates for BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions), and accuses Israel of ethnic cleaning. At the same time, he disregards terrorism and the rampant corruption of the Palestinian Authority.
Bahour wrote in the Guardian on August 4th, 2011 that “Israel [is] a settler, colonial, apartheid movement clinging to a racialist, exclusivist ideology. [The Palestinians] were correct to [reject Israel] at the outset of this conflict ." Bahour is affiliated with the orginization Al Shabaka, which opposes the Palestinian Authority’s negotiations with Israel. Bahour is a signatory of the Stuttgart declaration, which calls for a one-state solution and an end of Israel's existence. In his writing, Bahour refers to the bloody Intifadas as mere “civil uprising.” On his Twitter account, Bahour calls for BDS against Israel. Bahour has even pushed the ludicrous conspiracy theory that Israel "may be" responsible for the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
